While listening to Michael Hyatt’s Platform yesterday, he helped me make a connection I had not considered before. His book is all about utilizing available resources to create followers who are interested in your product. Your product does not have to be a physical object. In fact, it could be… a sermon. It could certainly be argued that a sermon that strengthens even one person’s faith has not be wasted, and I’d agree with that. It’s a waste, however, if you could have easily strengthened the faith of two people, but you did not take the time to share with the second person who didn’t make it to church that week, or had never attended church before in their life.
