The Man Who Knew Too Much

Watched the earlier version thinking it would enhance this viewing. Instead it left me wishing I was watching that version.

The Man Who Knew Too Much

I can see why Hitchcock would want to take another run at this. Not just because it feels a bit rough around the edges; it’s also the exact kind of story he loves to tell. I categorize them in my mind as the movies that are about the moral turmoil created by impossible math. Torn Curtain also falls in line with this.Watching these has helped me identify what I find hollow about Nolan’s films at times. They’re just about the math, often missing the human part.
